World mental health day 2024

Stephens Group of Institutions are taking proactive steps in organizing a series of activities

under the Mental Health Awareness Week 2024. The activities are aimed at promoting mental

health awareness and fostering inclusive communities that prioritize mental well-being for all.

This year theme for Mental health day was ‘Mental Health at the Workplace which aims to

shed light on the crucial role that workplaces play in maintaining the mental well-being of

individuals and calls for collective efforts to make workspaces more inclusive and mentally healthy. 

Anti ragging week

Stephens College of Nursing recently celebrated Anti-Ragging Week with an array of engaging activities aimed at promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment. Students enthusiastically participated in rangoli and poster-making competitions, showcasing their creativity and support for the anti-ragging message. Additionally, an interactive session was organized between junior and senior students, fostering mutual respect and camaraderie. The event served as a platform to strengthen the college's commitment to a ragging-free campus, emphasizing the importance of unity and mutual support among students.

Project presentation on "Layout of PHC"

Activity Description: Model Presentation on "Layout of PHC"


On 17th September 2024, a model presentation was conducted by the Post Basic Nursing 2nd-year students. The topic for the presentation was the "Layout of a Primary Health Centre (PHC)." Students prepared detailed models illustrating the structural and functional layout of a PHC, showcasing key areas such as the reception, examination rooms, consultation rooms, emergency areas, and various service departments. This activity aimed to enhance the students' understanding of the organization and essential components of a PHC, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge with a practical, visual approach.
